We've had a busy few months since I last posted, mainly with a new addition to the Hannay McLaren family! That's the excuse and I'm sticking to it!
We were delighted to recently feature in the RIAS Autumn magazine (well Louise was!) with a shortlisted design for the RIAS Silver Medal Competition. The brief was "A symbol of Scottish Architecture" and after some brainstorming came up with the idea of the vernacular cottage form as a living tradition.

I've just had a look at the Peerindex listing for the AJ top 100 tweeting Architects and we've moved up to 50th place! I think quite a few people must have joined Twitter in order to get onto the list and have now abandoned it!
We're also listed on the Google map of architects, consultants and designers who use Twitter. It's very interesting to see where our followers and peers are all based.
It's been a quiet few months, but things are begining to look busier for the forseeable future with a few larger and some interesting projects on the horizon.
